Halfway point between Equinox and Solstice

Today Tuesday November 8th is the midway point between Equinox which occurred in late September and Solstice which occurs in late December.

Many ancient people cared very deeply about this event.  They believed in celebrating these type of events with the shift of the sun and the earth along with the seasons.  They would honor this with sacred ceremonies held out in nature.

Take a little time today to go outside and refresh yourself.  Being out in nature always rejuvenates a soul.  Prayer and meditation, especially out in nature, is always good.  Today would be a great day to do so with the balance of energy at this mid way point.

Viewing nature photos also helps.  It is a visualization.  It can bring peace and put you in a place you might not be able to get to, even if it’s only for a few moments.  Take the time to pull within and to reset yourself from the daily stress of life.  It’s good for your overall health and wellbeing.

Yesterday I took a peaceful walk through Grant Park.  I am blessed to have so much nature near my home.  I enjoyed capturing photos of fall scenery as well as walking through the leaf covered pathways.  To hear the crunch below my feet it to know it is truly Autumn.  It is beautiful to see the changing of the season, all in their own special way.

Enjoy your day 🙂
